Assignment Description
A critical essay (3500 words).
Write a critical essay that clearly demonstrates understanding of key module topics that you have gained from this module. Links, examples and applications of the concepts and discussion should be made to current businesses and situations to show understanding of the module and its contents
It is expected that you cite examples using industry ‘best practice' and show examples of both sustainable and unsustainable practices to compare differing approaches to business ethics, operations, governance, and contemporary leadership. Your final submission should take the form of a high-quality essay. A standard essay includes the following elements:
An introduction that includes the purpose of the assessment statement (the three tasks), Main body paragraphs that evaluate, analyse, and otherwise discuss the question, a conclusion that summarises the core arguments and restates the position given by the purpose of the assessment statement
A reference list or bibliography, appendices.
There is a word-count limit of 3500 for the Report - with an allowance of +/- 10%. Marks will be reduced if the Report exceeds or falls below the stipulated word-count.
Any academic sources should be correctly cited within the main body of the essay in accordance with the Harvard Referencing Style.
A front cover sheet (provided on Moodle) should be attached at the front of your report. Cover page, headers/footers, citations, reference list/bibliography will not form part of the word count.
