ACTIVITY 1: Teams can take on many different forms, and depending on the author, be given different names. Review the list of teams and descriptions below. Match up the team to the description and consider an example of a team to match the description.

ACTIVITY 2: Reflect on your experiences so far of working in teams. Make a note of your experiences. Was the team successful? If so, why? What were the challenges the team faced? What role did you play in those challenges? Was there anything you could have done differently? How do you feel about working in a team as part of the consultancy experience? What were your thoughts when you learnt the names of your team members?

ACTIVITY 3: Reflect on the different Belbin team roles and decide on your 'preferred' role/s, 'manageable' role/s, and 'out of my comfort zone' role/s. Download My Belbin Roles Activity  and complete the table. Consider the strengths and weaknesses of your preferred roles and list them under the table. You will need the completed activity to share with your team when deciding on team roles later in this unit.
