Coursework Part 1
The Part 1 asks you to use the case study statement supplied below to develop a service-oriented Movie/GameRentalSystem for a video store in terms of service concepts. Then you submit a written report in the word format for your coursework part 1.
The Statement of a Movie/Game DVD Rental System
A new video store offers rentals of movie/game DVDs to the wider public. Its suppliers provide DVD ordering web services so that the store can use the web services to search and order movie/game DVDs online via internet. In order to run the business more efficiently, the store lets a software company develop a new movie/game DVD rental system for the store with integration with suppliers' web services.
What you must submit for Coursewoek Part 1
A report written in the word format (Note: All UML diagrams must be drawn using the StarUML software).
The Part 1 report must include:
• A front page featuring:
o Module title, lecturer name, your name and banner ID, submission date
• Content page to list diagrams included
plus the pages containing:
1. A UML state diagram showing the business context model for the major parties of the video store and documents that the partiesexchange. (10)
2. A UML activity diagram with horizontal swimlaness howing the high-level business process model of the video store.
3. A UML use case diagram showing the functionality of the Movie/Game DVD rental system.
4. A UML activity diagram with vertical swimlanes showing the scenario of the use case "Rent DVDs" included in the created use case diagram in 3.
5. A UML class diagram showing the information model of the Movie/Game DVD rental system.
6. A service interaction diagram (drawn in a UML class diagram) showing service interactionsmeant by the UML activity diagram created for 4.
7. A service interface diagram (drawn ina UML class diagram) showing the servicedefinition meant by the UML activity diagram created for 4.
