It is preferable to be a listed company with full annual reports.
Don't pick a big global company keep them to companies you can cope with.

1. Introduction - (600 words)
1.1 Aim and Objectives of the report.
1.2 Define strategy - some academic definitions plus your own synthesised version.
1.3 Context of company - when founded, key periods of growth, size/scale today, full history as an appendix.
1.4 Industry/Sector - define them, say which you company are in, how big they are and are they in growth.

2. Aim The aim of this report is to critically analyse and evaluate Whitbread's business strategy in order to make recommendations on its future strategic direction. This will be achieved by
- Critically analysing and evaluating the external environment to identify any opportunities or threats
- Critically analysing and evaluating the internal environment to identify any strengths or weaknesses
- Critically analysing and evaluating the existing strategic options taken by Whitbread to identify and opportunities
- Make recommendations on future strategic options

2. External Environment - Need to define external environment and external analysis/audit mentioning various levels - (c1,600 words)
2.1 Macro environment - define macro environment and talk about models - PEST, PESTLE, SCEPTICAL etc. Choose one. Define VUCA if using.
