Quantitative analysis process
Questions that must be addressed by any qualitative analysis:
• What themes, trends or patterns are evident from groups of people or organisations?
• Are there similarities and differences between the different data groups?
• Are there interrelationships between different parts of the data?
• What interesting issues emerge?
• Do the findings suggests that additional data might useful be collected?
• Are there deviations from the main patterns or trends that might be identified?

Sample selection for qualitative research
Make use of an appropriate sampling strategy for qualitative research:
• Non-probability sampling (most commonly used):
• Purposive sampling - choosing people whose experience and perspectives are deemed important to the investigation
• Convenience sampling - selected because of practicability; may not be representative of the population
• Probability sampling: a sample that is statistically representative of the population
